What We Do?
We are often asked how we work with our family business clients. What is it that we really do? My flippant answer is generally ‘as little as possible’. But the reality is we pass the responsibility for doing a lot of the hard work back to our client.
As family business facilitators, we are merely the catalyst that can help make things happen for you, if you are serious about addressing your family business issues. The FBRC Family Business Development Process
We believe that the issues that you currently have to deal with are the result of all that has come before. If we are to address them effectively we have to start by getting the fundamentals right. This involves addressing three preliminary steps –
1. Building on sound foundations of trust and effective communication2. Committing to a common uniting vision based on the families values3. Ensuring sound governance structures are in place for both the family and the business.
With these fundamentals in place, we believe that you have a sound basis for addressing all of the issues in your family business. For more details about the FBRC Family Business Development Process click here.
